Handcrafted in our atelier in Bologna, Amphora tells the story of a distant time from the regional traditions of an ancient popular culture. The collection consists of rediscovered and enhanced everyday objects, suitable for furnishing new homes with its unique knitted leather texture.

The creative approach combines experimentation between different disciplines, attention to design and craftsmanship, in which the contemporary relates to a still living past, made up of ancient techniques. Its slim, circular shape echoes the traditional design that allowed for easy handling and practical transportation of liquids. At the top, an aluminium handle makes it easy to grip, decorated with unique and elegant natural details.

Surrounding the ring-shaped, consisting of a tubular steel structure, is the knitted leather surface, handmade by the atelier. Leather, a material used in ancient times to make wineskins as containers because of its waterproof properties, suitable for storing and transporting liquids inside, is used to create a new textile weave. Harvest elements enrich Nuanda’s craftsmanship, offering a personalised touch to each piece.
